Nursery Costs Drop in England Amid Free Childcare Expansion

Annual nursery costs for children under three in England have decreased, according to the Coram charity, following the government's expansion of free childcare. By September, eligible parents of all under-fives will receive 30 free hours per week. Despite the decline in England, Wales remains the most expensive place in Great Britain for under-twos, with annual costs at £15,038. While costs for two-year-olds also fell in England, they increased in Wales and Scotland.
