K-Pop has seen a massive rise in popularity in the UK, with dedicated fans driving its success. Amber Clare, once a One Direction fan, discovered K-Pop through social media and is now the marketing and social media manager at K-Stars, the UK's first and biggest K-Pop shop.

K-Stars, which began as a small business in 2019, has grown into a two-storey store in Manchester with over 20 employees. Despite limited radio and TV coverage, the UK is now among Spotify’s top 10 countries for K-Pop streams, with groups like Ateez, BTS, Blackpink, and Stray Kids achieving chart success.

This summer, Blackpink and Stray Kids will perform at Wembley and Tottenham Stadiums, while Twickenham will host a major K-Pop festival, further proving the genre’s growing influence in the UK.
