Aldi Recalls Over 4,000 Bags of Shredded Cheese Due to Metal Contamination.
More than 4,000 bags of Aldi’s Happy Farms Colby Jack shredded cheese have been recalled in Connecticut, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania due to possible stainless steel contamination. The recall was initiated by Great Lakes Cheese Co. Inc. on Feb. 15, 2025, with the FDA issuing a Class II recall on March 19—indicating potential temporary health risks.
